Ms. Bellou holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Athens. Her academic journey involved a comprehensive study of British and American literature, along with extensive research into English syntax and phonetics , equipping her with the skills necessary to effectively teach non native English speakers. She also received comprehensive training in designing and implementing customized lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of her students. Furthermore, Ms. Bellou expanded her expertise by completing additional training in Special Education Needs at the University of the Aegean, further enhancing her ability to support diverse learners in various educational settings.
Shortly after earning her Bachelor's degree, she began her career in private education, teaching students across all levels, from kindergarten to adults. Additionally, she gained valuable experience working with students with special needs. This diverse teaching experience not only expanded her professional skills but also contributed significantly to her personal growth.
She recently completed her Master's degree in "Economics of Education and Management of Educational Units." Her decision to pursue this advanced degree was driven by her passion for leadership and her commitment to guiding and supporting students throughout their educational journeys. For her thesis, she conducted research on risk management in schools, focusing on the development of a new school system designed to minimize hazards and threats to students and their education. Her research aimed to enhance the quality of the teaching profession by creating safer and more effective learning environments.
During her stay at 香港六合彩开奖结果2023, Ms. Bellou served as an important member of the Writing Studio, providing continuous support to Middle School students with their Language Arts assignments. She also assisted Academy students with their International Baccalaureate (IB) English literature essays and guided them through the complexities of college application processes. In addition ,Ms. Bellou conducted a series of seminars aimed at English as a Second Language (ESL) students, focusing on essential topics such as effective paragraph construction and the identification and application of literary devices. She was part of the Literacy Festival 2022 held by the Learning Commons and provided a workshop regarding Feminist Literature.
Furthermore, Ms. Bellou organized and delivered supplementary ACT preparation courses tailored specifically for a select group of students, concentrating on the English language and literature components of the exam. Lastly , she provided one-to-one sessions for the subject English literature in 10th grade in ACS Virtual School.
For her, teaching is not just about sharing knowledge, but about inspiring minds.
