Middle & High School Program Winter/Spring 2024-25
The Middle & High School Program offers exciting activities to our students.
The programs will begin on Monday, January 27 and end on Wednesday May 21st Registration opens at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 15 and closes on Wednesday, January 22 at 10:00 am.

- Please note that students (6th grade and older) wishing to participate in the activities presented below can ride the Late Area buses which depart at 17:45 every day; these buses go to specific areas and do not provide "door to door" service. Please check the schedules & routes to determine if any of the buses suit your needs.
- For any emergencies or any needed communication after school hours (after 16:00), you may call: 210.6070.294 / 210.6070.240 / 210.6070.235 / 210.6070.327, where a staff member will be on duty until all the after school activities finish.
- If your child is sick during the school day, he/she is not allowed to participate in any of the after school activities.
- In case of rain, sessions will take place indoors with alternative plans (game videos, fitness and other). With light rain, activities will take place.
- The session dates, costs, and meeting points are provided below for every sport.
The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 After-School Recreational Programs WILL NOT take place on the following days:

Activities Fees & Deadlines
There is a predetermined cost per activity to help pay for the instructor's time and materials; please see the activities sections below. Please note that if minimum registration is not met, the activity may be canceled. In such an event, you will be contacted by the Athletic Office.
Payment must be made by Friday, January 31, 2025, using the School Bank information. Please include the child's name.

Registration & Cancellation Protocols
Registration during the course of the Semester (after the start of the activities) will be allowed based on availability:
- If registration for the activity takes place before 50% of the total number of sessions are completed, then the entire fee is required (100%).
- If registration for the activity takes place after 50% of the total number of sessions are completed, then the family will have to pay half the fee (50%)
Cancellation Policy
- If a student wishes to withdraw from an activity before the second session, a full credit refund is given for another activity.
- If a student wishes to withdraw from an activity after the second session and before 50% of the total sessions are completed, then 50% of the fee is required.
- No credit will be offered If a student wishes to withdraw from an activity after 50% of the total sessions are completed (except in the case of an injury or illness resulting in absence of three weeks or more).

Future archers will learn basic techniques, safety rules, competition procedures and will have the chance to enjoy shooting through fun games and competitions.
Advantages gained through archery training include:

Chess is the most popular game ever invented. The benefits of chess to children are endless! It strengthens mental clarity, fortitude, and stability. It develops decision-making and patience and builds focused concentration. Most of all, it's fun. This course will provide lessons tailored towards the skills of the children, combined with supervised training games.

Throughout the activity of Strength & Conditioning, students will improve their strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and body composition, as well as their social and teamwork skills. It is a great opportunity to learn how to use a variety of equipment tools such as pilates balls, Bosu half balls, foam rollers, balance boards, elastic bands, pilates mattresses, TRX straps, and steppers. They will also have the opportunity to use the fitness room and track & field facilities, participating in indoor and outdoor fun and engaging training sessions.

In this middle school art class, students will embark on a journey of artistic exploration and experimentation. Under the guidance of their teacher, they dive into a diverse array of techniques and materials. Each day is a new page; whether it's designing a dynamic layout, collaging found objects into a whimsical composition, or developing a character illustration with expressive linework. The students eagerly fill the pages of their sketchbooks, using them as a canvas to document their creative process, experiment with new ideas, and capture their personal artistic growth. By the end of the year, their sketchbooks have transformed into a vibrant portfolio, showcasing their mastery of various applied arts disciplines and their evolving visual storytelling abilities.
